THE CONSULTATION DEPARTMENT: There are two consulting doctors who are working full time, four medical secretaries, a nurse assistant and two audiometrists. THE OFFICES: The department includes . Two consultation rooms equiped with a microscope and videoendoscopic
systems which enable the exploration of the larynx, the nasal
pits and the ear.
A technical room reserved for the cleaning and the disinfection of the endoscopic and consultation materials. THE ACTIVITIES
The service covers the differents sectors of the current ENT and takes charge of the medical and surgical pathologies concerned: 1 . THE OTOLOGY, in collaboration with
the different specialised department of the clinic, as well as
the unstuck ears surgery.
2. THE RHINOLOGY: rhinitis and sinusitis, nasosinusal polyposis ( nasal and sinusal endoscopic surgery) as well as the aesthetic and functional surgery of the nasal pyramid.
4. CERVICAL AND FACIAL PATHOLOGIES: thyroid
disease, salivary glands, ganglions in the neck, cysts and fistulas
of the neck, of the adult and the child.
6. THE MALIGNANT PATHOLOGIES OF THE UP AERODIGESTIVE
CANALS : buccal cavity, throat, nose, sinus, cavum.
SURGERY
Operations are performed within the clinic : 1. Ambulatory surgery for adults and children is performed on Monday and Thuesday in a specific surgery room. 2. Surgery that requires hospitalization is performed on Monday, Thuesday, Thursday and Friday. ANAESTESIA : Anaesthesist problems related to this surgery are numerous because it concerns children as well as adults. Many operations are performed using the endoscopic way. In this field, cooperation and anticipation within the surgical and anaesthesia staff of the Jean CAUSSE Ear Clinic are two essential established facts. |
