The medical staff in otology is specialised in
the diagnosis and the treatments of the ear affections. It is
formed by doctors Bernard Casse, Thibaud
Dumon, Bénédicte Firmin, Jean-Pierre Fontaine, Benoît
Gratacap, Renaud Pialoux and Robert Vincent. The consultations
take place from monday to friday, from 8:00am to 04:00 pm and
is usually preceded by one or several complementary examinations
(audiometric, vestibular etc...).
During the consultation, we advise you to bring
possible already performed examinations that is biological and
radiologic ones (MRI, CT-Scan etc...). The doctors regularly take
part in national and international congress and also produced
scientific publications in order to follow a policy of Educational
Requirements. Once a year, International
Otology Courses placed under the aegis of the European
Academy of Otology-Neurotology (EAONO), are organised in the clinic
with live surgical demonstrations and discussion, in the presence
of guest international otologists. The Clinic also receive regularly
several french and foreign surgeons. The Otologic department has
created a computer system allowing a prospective analysis of the
auditory results pointed out by the different interventions. It
is an analysis software which is at the same time objective and
subjective (with the help of a satisfaction questionnaire ).
